A charming little piece of vintage kitchen history, this brass 3-minute egg timer was made in England and is as functional as it is decorative. Designed to measure approximately 3 minutes, the timer takes about 3 minutes and 15 seconds for the sand to completely drain from one chamber into the other. The warm, aged brass case has developed a wonderful natural patina over the years, giving this petite timer the character and presence that only genuine vintage pieces can offer. It could certainly be polished to reveal a brighter brass finish, but its current aged appearance is particularly appealing for collectors who appreciate authentic vintage patina. Perfect for an antique kitchen display, cottage kitchen, farmhouse décor, or a collection of vintage culinary accessories, this little hourglass is a delightful reminder of a time when even everyday kitchen tools were made with style and substance.
