A charming piece of Lladró history, this retired Lladró #7604 "Flowers for the Teacher" (Flores a la Maestra), was sculpted by Antonio Ramos and issued in 1988 as a Lladró Collectors Society exclusive. The elegant young girl carries a small school case while holding a delicate bouquet of flowers—presumably a thoughtful gift for her teacher. Standing approximately 8 inches tall, this beautifully detailed glazed porcelain figurine captures the innocence and anticipation of childhood through Lladró's signature hand-finished craftsmanship. Her braided hair, flowing dress, tiny bouquet, and school case are filled with the fine details that make vintage Lladró so appealing to collectors. Like real flowers, the petals of one have started to break off. See condition and photos for details. Now retired, #7604 is an especially attractive choice for collectors of Lladró Collectors Society pieces, Antonio Ramos designs, school-themed figurines, and vintage Spanish porcelain.
