A charming celebration of childhood and the arrival of spring, this Lladró #5217 "Children's Spring" (Primavera Infantil) features a young girl surrounded by the simple pleasures of gardening. Dressed in soft pink overalls, she carries a delicate bouquet of flowers while a tiny bird perches sweetly on her outstretched hand. A watering can and flowering shrub complete this wonderfully detailed garden scene. Sculpted by renowned Lladró artist Juan Huerta and issued in 1984, #5217 is a beautiful example of the graceful figurative porcelain for which Lladró is known. The combination of the young gardener, flowers, bird, and watering can creates a particularly appealing narrative piece that captures the innocence and optimism of springtime. This example is especially desirable because it comes with its original Lladró box, making it an excellent choice for collectors seeking a complete vintage presentation. The original packaging also adds appeal for gifting or long-term collection.
