A dreamy 12” Art Nouveau vase featuring a serene winter cabin scene with trees and sunrise — hand-painted on slate blue over milk glass with a graceful ruffled rim. The peaceful cabin and tree landscape is left in white milk glass, contrasting beautifully with the soft slate blue exterior. The blue overlay extends approximately 2.5” inside, with the remainder of the interior finished in clean white milk glass. This vase is unmarked and is being sold strictly as a decorative display item. Its elegant 12” height and ruffled rim make it a striking focal point for winter decorating, cottage-style interiors, or hand-painted art glass collections. Perfect for a statement display, the combination of the cool slate blue overlay with the white painted scene creates depth and visual interest that captures the calm beauty of a winter sunrise. Dimensions: 12"H x 5" base diameter; 5" rim diameter, 3.5" W opening. Condition: Surprisingly good, given it being 100+ years old. However, there is a hairline crack forming at the base, on the backside. This does not show when displayed, but the vessel did leak a bit during an attempt to remove the black on the base interior (they must be part of the glass, as they would not remove). There are minor scratches to the enamel painted scene & other glass-manufacturing blemishes. Please review the photos carefully as they are part of the description. Price is reflective of condition, age, and market availability. Reasonable offers accepted & modifications to shipping service available. Extra care will be taken to ensure safety during transit.
