A rare and highly collectible example of early Fenton art glass, this Vaseline opalescent Basketweave open edge bowl combines historic craftsmanship with standout visual appeal. First introduced in 1911, the Basketweave pattern is one of Fenton’s earlier and more desirable designs—valued for its intricate texture and elegant form. This example elevates that appeal further with its luminous Vaseline uranium glass body and softly opalescent rim. Pieces like this are increasingly difficult to source, particularly in this combination of form, color, and condition. At the time of listing, comparable examples are not readily available on the market—making this a standout opportunity for collectors. Under UV light (365/395), the bowl emits a vibrant glow, confirming its uranium content and adding an entirely different dimension for display. ✨ Details: Antique Fenton glass bowl Basketweave pattern (introduced 1911) Vaseline uranium glass with opalescent edge Open edge / crimped rim design Glows under UV light (365/395) Early 20th century American glass ✨ Condition: Excellent antique condition.
